Vengeance is a dish best served frozen | The Long Dark

I normally don't hold grudges -- but for this moose I will make an exception. Context for my reaction to this kill: weeks earlier, Astrid went toe-to-toe with this moose by the Wing in Timberwolf Mountain and put 11 flare shells into its noggin ... after which the moose walked away. Mind you, this was before Hinterland introduced the bug that made moose unable to die to flare shells. Demoralized, we had to walk away. Weeks later, though, both Astrid and the moose were back in TWM for Round 2. The combination of our previous encounter and my generally being crap with the rifle made the sight of that moose dropping a shock and a relief.
